Tomorrow marks the first day of MSU Denver’s third annual Socktober giving event. The monthlong initiative raises money and awareness for vital student resources, including the Rowdy’s Corner, the Student Emergency Fund and the DREAMer Emergency Fund.For every Socktober gift of $25 ($15 is tax-deductible), donors will receive one pair of limited-edition MSU Denver socks AND one pair of socks will be donated to a student in need. What better way to show MSU Denver pride than sporting University swag with the knowledge that you’ve supported a fellow Roadrunner? Last year’s Socktober giving event brought in more than $16,000 for student resources, contributing to a total of $46,000 in overall Socktober fundraising.
