The women of MSU Denver have made significant contributions to their various areas of research, scholarship and expertise. This Women’s History Month, the University celebrates women’s leadership and accomplishments from across the Roadrunner community, including the success of the MSU Denver Aerobatic Flight Team, led by lecturer and coach Dagmar Kress. Kress’ leadership and mentorship helped lead the team to the2021 Collegiate National Championship, beating out the second-place U.S. Air Force Academy and the third-place University of North Dakota. It was the team’s third title in five years. Kress, pictured at left with Aviation and Aerospace Science student Haley Jo Brinson, has also been active in the Girls & Science program, through which mentors share their experiences and encourage girls and their families to learn more about careers in science, technology, engineering and math.

See Kress take to the skies and support emerging aviators.
