Six students (pictured, with President Janine Davidson, Ph.D.) have set off to Washington, D.C., as the first cohort for MSU Denver’s Presidential Public Service Internship Program. The program offers a six-week fully paid experience for Roadrunners to build on academic and career interests through real-world experience and professional networking. Some of the student interns will attend and summarize congressional briefings on Capitol Hill. Others will focus on community-based projects such as the 11th Street Bridge Park and work in the Office of the Under Secretary for Science and Innovation, supporting Special Assistant Vanessa Grisko. This exciting experience is possible thanks to MSU Denver’s Center for Public Service, which is building on the mission and success of the former Hart Center for Public Service.

As a reminder, there will not be an Early Bird newsletter Monday as MSU Denver is closed in observation of the Juneteenth holiday.
