Early next year, Metropolitan State University of Denver employees will officially begin using Workday, a comprehensive, inclusive humanresources and financialmanagement system that will replace and consolidate the functionality of Banner HR, Banner Financials and several other systems. This new, state-of-the-art system will change the day-to-day experience of University employees by making job-related duties easier and personalinformation management simpler.

How will Workday improve University operations?

At a high level, Workday will streamline and operationalize previously manual processes, giving MSU Denver employees more time to focus on providing the highest level of service to students, faculty and staff. With extensive self-service functionality, it will support an enhanced day-to-day experience for University employees. Workday will empower employees to make timely strategic decisions and offer effective tools for operational improvement. Additionally, it will allow MSU Denver to reimagine how business is conducted, transform how employees work and help to achieve the University’s goal of being Colorado’s most desired place of employment.

What changes will Workday bring?

Key HR, Finance and other administrative stakeholders have been engaged with the project from the beginning and are excited about the improvements and opportunities Workday will bring. Take a few minutes to learn how this transition will positively impact University teams and operations:
