Support student scholarships, nominate colleague leaders and attend a LinkedIn Learning webinar.

Friday is the deadline to nominate yourself or a Metropolitan State University of Denver colleague to serve on the Latino/a Faculty and Staff Association Executive Board. If you are interested in running, or if you know someone who would be a good fit, please complete your nomination by Friday. All nominees will be contacted next week for confirmation that they are interested in running and will need to provide a brief bio for the election ballot.

2021 Latin American Educational Foundation Virtual Gala

7 p.m., with a preshow at 6:30 p.m.

MSU Denver is a sponsor for the 2021 Latin American Educational Foundation Virtual Gala. The event will feature headlining entertainer Raul Malo of the Grammy Award-winning band the Mavericks along with comedian Juan Villareal, who will serve as master of ceremonies.

The LAEF is a leader in meeting the higher-education needs of Hispanic and Latino students in Colorado. In its 72-year history, the LAEF has awarded nearly $7 million through 7,000 scholarships.
