Important Undergraduate Research and Creative Scholarship events and deadlines
Mini-grant proposals to support student research, scholarly works and creative projects are due Monday.

Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty and students are encouraged to participate in upcoming Undergraduate Research and Creative Scholarship events and opportunities:
Mini-grants fall deadline: Monday
The Undergraduate Research and Creative Scholarship Program will offer mini-grants to support student research, scholarly works and creative projects.
- Students ready to begin a research project in the fall or early spring semester can find the application on the Undergraduate Research website and apply by Monday.
- Students who have not yet developed their research idea can check back at the end of the semester for the spring application, which is due Jan. 22.
Students can receive only one mini-grant. All grant recipients must present at the Undergraduate Research Conference on April 23 and use their awards before June 1.
Workshop: Undergraduate Research and Scholarship: Connecting Research to Your Career
This workshop will cover research and creative scholarship across disciplines, the benefits of getting involved and how involvement can prepare students for a career in any field.
Present at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research
Abstract deadlines are Nov. 1 and Dec. 1
The conference will be held virtually April 12-14 and welcomes student presenters from all institutions of higher education across all disciplines. 10th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference
The 10th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference will be held online, utilizing a new platform that allows for interactive presentations, networking and much more. Mark your calendars and look for workshops in the spring about how to get the most out of the online conference.
Conference registration will open in late January with proposals due March 8. The registration deadline for attendees is April 9.
