Steam to Natural Gas Project
Crews will begin connecting the new gas line to the Science Building. This will include potholing, boring and pipe-pulling down the pedestrian walkway on the north side of the Science Building.
A portion of the parking lot outside the Auraria Library will be used to stage the boring machine. The Americans With Disabilities Act parking spaces will remain accessible as well as the ADA ramp, loading dock and trash Dumpster.
Work will begin on Champa Street along the north side of the Cherry Creek Building, beginning at the traffic circle on St. Francis and heading west.
The project team appreciates your patience, understanding and cooperation to help maintain a safe environment during construction.
If you have any questions or concerns about this project, please feel free to contact Auraria Higher Education Center Facilities Services at 303-556-3260. If you have questions about parking, please contact 303-556-2000.
