The Hispanic-Serving Institution Ambassadors Program serves to intentionally further the important and meaningful HSI work within the scope of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at our University. This ambassadorship strives to combine organizational and career development opportunities with conscious community building in order to foster faculty and staff in their development as institutional agents for change at MSU Denver, as well as HSIs as a whole. Through a project-based leadership experience, workshops, and multidirectional support for participants, the HSI Ambassadors Program intends to actively pursue an organizational identity of Servingness in action to engage in strengthening institutional capacity at MSU Denver.
The HSI Ambassadors Program will provide a year-long project-based leadership opportunity for a cohort of faculty and staff. All university members are encouraged to apply.
The scope of HSI Ambassadors’ involvement warrants a time commitment of 4-6 hours per week for the 2023-2024 school year to fulfill project obligations, assigned readings, and attend the entire meeting schedule.
Your application will need to include a Personal Statement and your Resume/CV. The personal statement should be no longer than 2 pages and address the following.
