Analogue Impressions: Analyzing the Printmaking Process

As a companion to the 528.0 Regional Juried Printmaking Exhibition, the student organized 965 Gallery within the CVA will show Analogue Impression: Examining the Printmaking Process. This is a juried exhibition that examines the process of printmaking and provides visitors with a window into the printmaker’s studio. Programs will emphasize the educational and community aspects of the featured artwork.


All events free and open to the public

Print // Ex: A Community Print Exchange
May 4-27, submit 6 2D handmade prints to CVA
Minimum dimensions 4" x 6", maximum 11" x 17", open to all, no entry fee
One print from each submission will be part of a 965 Gallery silent auction fundraiser and is a tax-deductible donation.

Friday, June 2, 6-7pm
As part of First Friday in Santa Fe Art District, pick up prints after your submission to the exhange (see above). Prints may picked up beginning June 2 at 6pm through June 16.

Carving Your Niche: Printmaking Practices
Friday, June 16, 6:30-7:30pm
As part of Third Friday in Santa Fe Art District, a panel discussion featuring Peter Bergman, Jennifer Ghormley, Thomas McLaughlin and Mandi Quinn.

Print // Ex: A Community Print Exchange silent auction benefiting 965 Gallery
First Friday, July 7, 6-8pm
Prints from the exchange will be available to the public in a silent auction benefiting the student curated 965 Gallery. Prints by artists include: Mandi Quinn, Janice McCullah, J Harley Nalley, Pat Isaacs, Roberta Restaino, Jon Odlin, Curtis Tucker, Stephanie Edwards and Brian Comber.
