Tackling Test Anxiety

This workshop is designed to assist the well-prepared student and the student who struggles with preparation and planning for exams. It addresses those who lose confidence and blank out on the day of the exam, as well as those who struggle with preparing for exams. If anxiety, confidence, or unsuccessful study habits have ever impaired your test performance, then this is a good workshop for you.

 

When: Thursday, February 20, 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Procrastination & Perfectionism: Two Roads to Shame and Suffering

 

We all do it sometimes: Put things off until the last minute, do every task on our list except the one we really need to get done, get stuck on a writing assignment because we cannot come up with the perfect starting sentence, or choose to do something more fun rather than the one we “should” be doing. If you find that you procrastinate to the point of extreme stress, or struggle to make deadlines, or get bogged down in perfectionism, then this workshop is for you! Come and discover ways to address the underlying dynamics behind these traps.

Understanding AD/HD –

Do you struggle with staying on task, focusing, or being organized? Any of these could be related to ADHD. The goal of this workshop is to provide some basic information about ADHD, such as how ADHD is defined.  Resources that may be helpful will be reviewed.
