Our virtual outreach efforts are designed to promote psychoeducation on some of the developmental needs of students.
We also provide class presentations on a variety of mental health topics aimed at reducing stigma and promoting use of psychological treatment. They are focused on effective interpersonal communications, the management of stress, adjusting to life changes, and suicide awareness and prevention.

NATIONAL YELLOW RIBBON SUICIDE AWARENESS VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS
Presented as part of National Suicide Prevention Week 2020, these virtual workshops are conducted through Microsoft Teams. The workshops will provide information on some of the warning signs and risk factors for suicide; suggestions for how to help yourself and loved ones who may be at risk; some of the misconceptions about suicidal behaviors; and resources for a deeper understanding and acting promptly if and when there is a need to intervene.
