Kim VanHoosier-Carey, Ph.D., Director, has taught English, women's literature, and cultural studies. She has served as an academic advisor for students from diverse backgrounds, including first-generation college students, international students, adult learners, and LGBTQ students. Lucinda Conde, MPS, Individualized Degree Specialist, has experience working at MSU Denver as a Generalist and College of Professional Studies Academic Advisor and working in the Graduation department as a Graduation Evaluator. She has over 10 years of experience with MSU Denver as a student, work-study, and working professional. Michelle Dupuis, M.Ed., Individualized Systems Specialist, has worked in higher education for many years both as an advisor and a team leader. She is responsible for ensuring that our work with students is effective and that the programs and systems we implement support that work. She also works as the lead on many of the Emerging Programs. Susan Heath, M.Ed., Program Manager, has been with MSU Denver for several years. She worked with the Office of Institutional Research prior to joining our team. In addition to managing the office, Susan assists students in the writing process for the IDP proposal essay and collaborates with the MSU Denver Writing Center. Student Peer mentors are advanced IDP students who are charged with assisting and mentoring incoming IDP students as they work on an IDP proposal.
