  • Individual Appointments - Our career specialists are available to help you review your resume, explore major and career opportunities, conduct mock interviews, and more.  Mock interviews can even be recorded to help provide more specific feedback.
  • Career Lab* - Stop by our office when the lab is open for quick advice or answers to career related questions.

Career Lab Hours until Aug. 7, 2020

Monday:  1 - 3 pm
Tuesday:  10 am - 1 pm
Wednesday:  10 am - 2 pm
Thursday:  1:30 - 5:30 pm
Friday:  10 am - 12 pm

 

Career Lab will be suspended for the Fall 2020 semester.

In our new virtual environment, we have decided to suspend Career Lab and provide a variety of ways for students to get quick access to career information and career staff. 

After August 7th, 2020, please send career and job search questions, resumes and cover letters for review or other C2 Hub inquiries to C2Hub@msudenver.edu for a response in 1-2 business days. 

Vault is a great way to learn about companies occupations and industries. 

VMock is available to all MSU Denver students for instant feedback on uploaded PDF resumes.

  • Career Assessments - We offer two career assessment tools to help you explore your personality and interests: the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII). There is a nominal fee to take the assessments.  You will need to attend an Interpretation Workshop or meet individually with a career counselor to review your results.

  • Employment Workshops - We offer several employment workshops to assist with your job search. Workshop topics include: Job Search Strategies, Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, Salary Negotiation and more. Stop by our office or log into Career Link for more information.

  • On-Campus Recruiting - Get connected to employers by participating in On-Campus Recruiting! Find out about on-campus interviews, career fairs, employer information sessions, employment opportunities and more through Career Link

  • MSU Denver Career Link - Our career management system allows you to post your resume, set up a search agent, learn more about employers you are interested in, apply for positions (jobs and internships), sign up for workshops and on-campus recruiting events.

  • Vault.com - Provides in-depth intelligence on what it's really like to work in an industry, company or profession—and how to position yourself to land that job. Research a company or industry, review guides on interview strategies and job search tips, and get advice to help launch your career.

  • Roadrunner Advisor Network - A platform that connects students and graduates, one-on-one, with experienced MSU Denver alumni for career conversations, resume critiques, and mock interviews.  Learn more about the Roadrunner Advisor Network through Alumni Relations Career Support.
