Institutional Capabilities Statement
Four-Program Partnership
The University is partnering with the Denver Housing Authority through the Hope VI HUD grant to offer four programs to residents of the South Lincoln Housing Area, located just south of our Auraria campus. These initiatives represent a unique blend of offerings to children, adults, and families in the areas of family literacy, aviation, visual arts, and integrative health. Programs are offered in collaboration with community organizations such as Shades of Blue and Estara Integrative Health, as well as MSU Denver faculty and students. This fee-for-service model illustrates a successful template for communal alliances that utilizes the capabilities of the institution and its partners.
