Current students with an active Campus Recreation membership can participate in this league and there is no additional cost to participate. Daily drop-in memberships are not permissible for this league. Memberships fees are included in MSU Denver student-fees. Other membership information can be found here.
This league is Open Format; there are no no gender-based requirements for team rosters.
Team rosters need to consist of at least 5 players with a maximum of 10.
Registration opens on January 20, 2020.
League play starts on February 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Games are on Monday nights on center court in the gym, PE117c and start at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Become a Intramural Champion this semester!
Intramural Esports will run alongside and at the same time as our Open Rec Esports offerings, but will focus on competitve-play rather than casual-play. Come challenge a friend, or make a new one, and compete for special prizes and bragging rights. No need to sign-up in advance, but being present on the first day of the league is required.
Each day represents a separate league and both will be 3-weeks long followed by a playoff tournament. Playoff tournament seeding is determined by regular season standings, just like any other traditional intramural league, and all intramural playoff tournaments are are single-elimination.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the PE Building's conference room, PE001, 11-1 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
Super Smash Bros (Singles): February 4, 11, and 18. Playoff tournament is on Feb. 25.
FIFA 20 (Singles): March 3, 10, and 17. Playoff tournament is on March 31.
Rocket League (Doubles): April 7, 14 and 21. Playoff tournament is on April 28.
Super Smash Bros (Singles): February 5, 12, and 19. Playoff tournament is on Feb. 26.
FIFA 20 (Singles): March 4, 11, and 18. Playoff tournament is on April 1.
Rocket League (Doubles): April 8, 15 and 22. Playoff tournament is on April 28.
In addition to Traditional and Esport offerings, the Intramural Sports program will also host a couple of special events throughout the Spering 2020 semester!
Just like all other Intramural Sports offerings, current students with an active Campus Recreation membership can participate in these events at no additional cost. Membership fees are included in MSU Denver student-fees and one-day, drop-in memberships are available as well. Complete membership information can be found here.
We are designing new special events for the spring semester, but past special events have included Basketball Golf, Augmented Reality Climbing and a Super Smash Bro Tournament in the Tivoli Turnhalle.
No registration needed, just show up to participate.

Kendra Montoya is a current student studying Exercise Science at Metropolitan State University of Denver and is striving to become a traveling Pediatric Physical Therapist. Born in Montrose, CO, Kendra was eager to branch out of the small town and move to a big city. In August of 2017, she joined the Facilities Operations team at MSU Denver Campus Recreation and quickly became involved in other program areas. After accepting a new and challenging position as a Sports Supervisor, Kendra now works with the Open Recreation and Intramural Sports Programs. Her hobbies include photography, social media marketing and of course watching the beautiful game of basketball!
Student Employment Opportunities
Campus Recreation will be interviewing and hiring Intramural Sports Officials and Supervisors for basketball, volleyball, indoor and outdoor soccer. We will provide training - no experience required to apply!
