AMERICAN RED CROSS
ADULT AND PEDIATRIC
CPR, FIRST AID, AED CLASSES

Each course includes Adult & Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED training, and will prepare you to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The blended courses include both online work and a classroom skills session. After completing the course you will receive a certificate for Adult & Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED that expires 2 years from date of completion.

Time - 10 a.m.–noon

Tonight I was at a Christmas Party and a man started choking. He wasn’t breathing. I got his consent, had someone call 911, and did back blows. Dislodged a huge piece of turkey, it didn’t come out yet but he started breathing again. He was able to eventually cough out the the chunk of meat. Fire rescue got there, said I did everything right. They checked the guy out and said he was fine. Might be a silly story, but I was happy to have some basic first aid knowledge. Never thought I would ever have to do something like that..
