Resources for Support During Campus Closure
First and foremost, we hope you and your loved ones are safe and doing well. MSU Denver and the Roadrunner community are here for you and ready to be of service. If you're not sure where to turn, your academic advisor or Associate Dean Bill Herman will do everything they can to assist you.
For the latest, most authoritative resources during this time, see the MSU Denver Coronavirus/COVID-19: Updates and Resources.
For a remarkable list of resources to help ease distressed situations, see this update from Will Simpkins, VP for Student Affairs. Resources include links to upcoming streaming town hall meetings, the Health Center at Auraria, the Student Emergency Retention Fund, the Student Care Center, resources to help you get enough food, the Counseling Center, and so much more.
If you don't see what you need, again, please be in touch.
Resources for Online Learning
Maybe you've never taken an online class before, but now you're suddenly an all-online student. How will you master all this technology?
Information Technology Services has a helpful guide, Be Ready for Online Learning. This includes help with Blackboard, Teams, Skype, OneDrive, internet security, and more. Don't have a computer at home? Fill out this form to request a loaner laptop.
Also, some College of Business faculty are using Zoom for teaching, and you may want to use it for meeting with classmates or even personal use. For more on how to use Zoom, see this PDF:
