Volunteer at Manufacturing Day

Goal: Increase awareness of advanced manufacturing industries, technologies, and careers for middle school, high school, and college students, teachers, and parents. Students will rotate through various experiences including visiting with manufacturers, learning about advanced manufacturing and career pathways, and participating in discussions about the manufacturing industry.

When: Friday, October 14
Where: Aerospace & Engineering Sciences Building

Schedule:
8:30am – Volunteer Checkin
9:00am-Noon – Event
Noon – Cleanup and pizza lunch

 What you will be doing:

Welcome/Checkin Table

• Help setup and/or cleanup
• Welcome guests to the event; check-in
• Explain schedule and passport process
• Give each student a tote bag

 Event Ambassador 

• Help setup and/or cleanup
• Stationed in various areas around the event to help guests
• Answer questions from guests
• Help guests with directions
• Report guest behavior problems to MSU Denver staff
