1. Complete the Petition for In-State Tuition

2. Submit additional supporting documents specified on the form

3. Turn in to the Office of Admissions

1. Complete the In-State Correction Form

2. Complete the COF application affidavit

  • Specify that you DO NOT have a SSN (even if you do)
  • Enter your identification, address and contact email
  • Choose ‘No’ to Concurrent/ASCENT question
  • Choose ‘No’ to lawfully present question
  • Choose ‘Yes’ to attendance at Colorado High School question and sign
  • Complete affidavit questions (SASID#, High School info, your name, date)

3. Provide SASID# from High School

4. Provide Employment Authorization Card

  • Last two cards if you recently renewed

5. Turn in to the Office of Admissions

 

1. Complete the In-State Correction Form

2. Provide proof of citizenship status (USCIS letter proving lawful presence)

3. Turn in to the Office of Admissions

 

1. Complete the In-State Correction Form

2. Provide proof of citizenship status (USCIS letter proving lawful presence)

3. Turn in to the Office of Admissions

 

1. Complete the In-State Correction Form

2. Provide valid visa

  • certain statuses do not qualify for in-state residency classification

3. Turn in to the Office of Admissions

 

1. Complete the In-State Correction Form

2. Provide Permanent Resident (PR) Card

  • Last two cards if you recently renewed

3. Turn in to the Office of Admissions

 

If you maintain ties to the state of Colorado

1. Complete the In-State Correction Form

  • For number one, please put your ‘from date’ beginning with the first day you were in Colorado prior to enlistment and today’s date as your ‘to date’. The ties to Colorado should be documented in number three through number nine.

2. Turn in to the Office of Admissions


 

-or- If you are on a permanent change of station within the nation and wish to use your post 9/11 GI Bill or Montgomery GI Bill Chapter 30

1. Provide your certificate of eligibility

2. Turn in to the Office of Admissions


 

 

-or- If you are not using military benefits and are on a permanent change of station within Colorado

1. Complete the Active Duty Military Tuition Classification Form

2. Turn in to the Office of Admissions


 

-or- If you are a member of the Colorado National Guard at least one day before classes begin

1. Complete the CO National Guard Tuition Classification Form

  • Make sure to also provide the documentation specified on the form

2. Turn in to the Office of Admissions

 

If you will be using post 9/11 GI Bill or Montgomery GI Bill Chapter 30, within three years of separation

1. Provide your certificate of eligibility

1. Provide your DD-214 (member 4, long version)

2. Turn in to the Office of Admissions


 

-or- If you have been honerably discharged more than three years ago

1. Complete the Veteran Tuition Classification Form

2. Turn in to the Office of Admissions

 

After you submit your request, processing is typically 5-7 business days and more documentation may be requested before a final decision is made. All requests are considered but approval is not guaranteed.
