1) Get Your Student ID Number
You will receive your Student ID Number in your digital and mailed acceptance letter. You can also get your Student ID Number from the Office of Admissions.
March 1 – Priority Deadline
The earlier you complete this step, the better. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by using MSU Denver’s school code 001360. Check out MSU Denver’s scholarships which are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis or based on academics, achievement and financial need.
Dreamers, DACA/undocumented, and international students: complete the Colorado Application for Student Financial Aid (CASFA) to apply for financial support.

First-time college students are required to attend Orientation before registering for classes. Sign up as soon as dates are available to secure your spot.
You may have been admitted to MSU Denver by uploading an unofficial copy of your transcripts or scores to your application account. Prior to attending, you will need to request that your official transcripts or GED scores (and official test scores if applicable) be sent from your school or institution. Transcripts should have a posted graduation date and final grades.
You should receive advising during Orientation. If not, you must set up an appointment with your advisor before selecting classes (required). Find your advisor or make an appointment.
You should register for classes during Orientation. If not, you can log on to your student hub and register for courses yourself. You can also change and edit your schedule too.
Colorado residents qualify for the College Opportunity Fund stipend which pays for a portion of in-state tuition on every course credit you take.
Visit the Tivoli Station Bookstore and purchase books and supplies, along with your Student ID card. You will need a valid photo ID and a copy of your class schedule.
Pay tuition and fees via the Student Hub or at the Cashier's Office (located in the Jordan Student Success Building, Counter 5) by 5 p.m. on the Friday before classes begin.
You are invited to join all newly-admitted Roadrunners in the online Facebook community group. This is a great way to meet your peers, ask questions, and get involved.
