STEP: Transition for Students with Disabilities: How to Access Disability Support Services & Technology

SUMMARY: Learn about the process of how students register to receive disability accommodations in the college setting and what support services students can expect to receive after registering with the disability office. The session will also feature how students can access technology support in the college setting including demonstrations of technology that can help improve your reading, writing, and note taking abilities.
STEP: Access Center Students & MSU Denver Faculty Panel

SUMMARY: Engage in an interactive discussion with current Access Center students and MSU Denver faculty. Students will provide useful tips on how to self-advocate to ensure your needs are met. Faculty will discuss the academic expectations for college students and how students can work with faculty to increase their chances of success.
