Course for OER adoption: ITP 4950 Community Coaching for Health
Semester of planned adoption: Fall 2020
Project summary: Build a new course for the Department of Health Professions as part of the Wellness Coaching minor and certification process. The open textbook adopted is Wellbeing in Educational Contexts and the chapters used provide a good overview of wellness, well-being, and positive psychology theory along with pathways and deterrents to these outcomes.

Course for OER adoption: ITP 2950 Wellness Coaching 1
Semester for planned adoption: Fall 2020
Project summary: Will be using the OER grant for a re-development of the ITP 2950, Wellness Coaching 1 course through the center for Teaching, Learning, and Design. The course will be hosted in the Department of Health Professions as part of the Wellness Coaching minor and certification process. The resources to be uses compliment the theory and practice of coaching well and will decrease the cost for an added textbook for students. Looking forward to the OER resource and for the course design process to enhance access to the wellness coaching minor.
