Strategic Plan 2020
Aerospace and Engineering Sciences Building
Creating next-generation manufacturing employees for Colorado
Colorado is currently the second-highest aviation and aerospace employer in the nation. As the industry has grown, MSU Denver's Aviation and Aerospace Science Department has evolved into one of the largest, most sophisticated programs in the country. As we continue our push to becoming the top program of its kind in the U.S., we remain the most affordable!
In an innovative approach to advanced manufacturing education, MSU Denver has opened a vanguard, state-of-the-art facility that is integrating:
- Aerospace Science and Aviation Technology
- Industrial Design
- Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology
- Computer Science and Computer Information Systems
A dynamic learning space that integrates product with collaborative design and research. The AES Building provides coordinated disciplines providing advanced technology opportunities and experiential laboratories, resulting in highly skilled, workforce-ready graduates meeting the needs of advanced manufacturing in Colorado.
With the Aerospace and Engineering Sciences Building, MSU Denver educates the most skilled, workforce-ready professionals available to meet the aviation, aerospace and advanced manufacturing needs of the state of Colorado. Thanks to our partnerships with Lockheed Martin, Hartwig, Inc. and United Airlines, our students have access to the same technology and software used at NASA. Career opportunities for aviation students in Colorado really are sky-high.
