TPS at MSU Denver Workshops

Teaching with Primary Sources at MSU Denver offers professional development opportunities to all educators in Colorado to promote the use of primary sources in instruction at all grade levels. There are a variety of delivery options (face-to-face, online, and blended) available to accommodate your specific educational needs and schedule. Explore the three levels of participation to get started.


Level I

‌Participants gain strategies for using primary sources to help students engage in learning, develop critical thinking skills and build content knowledge. Read More...Level 1

Level II

Participants evaluate, create and teach topic-specific, content-informed lessons that integrate primary sources from the Library of Congress.  Read More...Level 2

Level III

Experienced educators advocate the use of primary sources and help disseminate the ideas, methods and products of the TPS program. Read More...Level 3

Graduate Credit

Upon completion of many TPS MSU workshops, graduate credit may be earned.  You must have at least a bachelor’s degree to register for graduate credit, and the cost varies by institution.  We are currently offering graduate credit through the following colleges/universities:Graduate Credit Icon
