Information Technology in the healthcare sector. Interest in public health studies relating to environmental issues impacting healthcare.

Dissertation topic and research into comparative studies of nursing recruitment and retention issues in rural Colorado and Australia.

Teaching Philosophy

I encourage students to actively participate with peers & the instructor while also accessing on-line sourcing of research. The text is a guide for principal concepts while the most up-to-date information is obtained with the use of e-learning opportunities offered by peer reviewed materials facilitated by the available library databases as one of the sources.

Evidence based medicine implies a dynamic learning environment where new research and findings are updated frequently. To gain the most from any course, critical thinking is encouraged
