Personal Biography Statement

Spanning both executive and clinical positions, my career of over 25 years has been entirely in the health care industry. Most recently, I was the Senior Vice President for an international corporation that developed medical databases where I was in charge of strategic planning, marketing and new product development. I started my career as a billing clerk and an admitting officer in a small hospital to fund my college tuition. I have worked with organizations such as Cornell Medical Center/The New York Hospital, The British Medical Journal, Medscape/Web MD, and Sterling Drug Corporation. My positions have ranged from a researcher, physician's assistant, medical writer and editor to a consultant.
