Personal Biography Statement

Professor Lopez is a retired Air Force reserve officer and Engineer with over 35 years of experience in the Aerospace Industry. His Air Force experience covered nuclear weapons, the Minuteman and Peacekeeper ICBMs, and extensive work on military satellites. Professor Lopez retired as an engineering manger from the Raytheon Company (legacy Hughes) where he worked in a variety of space programs. Before coming to Metro, he worked for the Lockheed-Martin company.
