Biography of Myron Anderson, Ph.D.

Associate Professor & Associate to the President for Diversity, Department of Teacher Education

Dr. Myron Anderson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Teacher Education. His area of expertise is education technology and distance education and he designed and coordinated the Department’s Education Resource Center. Myron has developed interactive training programs to empower student leaders’ and enhance their programming, leadership, and life skills. He has also presented many workshops, both regional and national, in the areas of student development and academic enrichment.

Myron’s primary academic focus is on improving instructional delivery in online learning, addressing the digital divide in the African American community, and strengthening diversity in higher education.

He is active in the community and is a member of many college and professional organizations. Myron is a past President of the Kappa Delta Pi, Xi Zeta Chapter National Honor Society, past member of the Board of Directors of the Tech Federal Credit Union and has served as a member of the Faculty Senate.
