The Immigrant Services Program serves MSU Denver’s refugee and immigrant students (including ASSET and DACA) and any student whose first or home language is not English. We provide personalized advising and academic support services for students beginning with the admissions process through graduation. Likewise, our peer mentors promote academic achievement and assist with everything from class assignments, language skills, financial aid and scholarship advice, and college success strategies. We also provide assistance and consultation for MSU Denver faculty and staff.

Tutoring and Mentoring
The Immigrant Services Program provides each student with a knowledgeable peer that is able to support the student with important study skills, tutoring in writing, reading, and presenting, note taking, applying for scholarships, and advice on how to be a successful college student.
Tutoring and mentoring appointments are personalized to the student's individual needs.
RISE is a student organization affiliated with MSU Denver dedicated to serving the DACA, ASSET, Refugee, and undocumented population on the Auraria Campus.
