Metropolitan State University of Denver President Stephen Jordan announced that he will retire at the end of this academic year, June 30, 2017.

The Board of Trustees has begun a national search for the 15th president of Metropolitan State University of Denver. The trustees have engaged Georgia Yuan from AGB Search to run the national search for Jordan’s successor, and Board of Trustees Chair Michelle Lucero has appointed a 16-member Presidential Search Committee.

The committee comprises members from throughout the university community, including trustees, faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. The search committee is chaired by Rob Cohen, past chair and long-time member of the Board of Trustees. Cohen is the Chairman and CEO of The IMA Financial Group, Inc.
