OWOW Water Studies Minor Information

‌T‌he Water Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary field of study that provides a holistic, highly interactive program. The curriculum is designed to facilitate water studies education to students from a wide range of co-curricular programs. A grade of C or better must be earned in each course required for the minor. Students should note that programs differ in the minimum grade required. The Water Studies Minor code in Banner is WTRS.

Water Studies Minor students musts fulfill the following requirements:

-JRN 390T Covering the Environment (offered in Spring Semester), 3 credits 
OR
CAS 3200 Water Conflict: Applied Leadership Communication, 3 Credits

        - MGT/ENV 3250 Colorado Water Law & Water Law Administration (offered in Spring Semester), 3 Credits
        OR
        ENV 4410 Water Law (offered in Fall Semester), 3 Credits

- GEG 1910 Global Water Concerns (offered in both Fall and Spring Semesters), 3 Credits
OR
ENV 3400 Water Resources (offered in both Fall and Spring Semester), 3 Credits

- **Approved Internship OR Capstone Project, 3 Credits

- Approved Electives, 6 credits
