The local and national media continue to use MSU Denver professors as experts on many of today’s most important and controversial developments such as the escalating violence in Gaza, marriage licenses for same-sex couples and the latest in airport security issues. A snapshot of recent coverage follows.
Aviation and Aerospace Science
On July 17, CBS4 interviewed Professor James Simmons about FAA regulations not requiring children under age two to have to their own seat on flights.
On July 9, USA Today interviewed Associate Professor Jeff Price regarding growing airport security scrutiny of electronic devices and how it affects travelers.
On July 7, CNN interviewed Associate Professor Jeff Price concerning emergency response issues surrounding the Asiana airlines disaster.

On July 5, The Denver Post interviewed Assistant Professor Jennifer Bradford about a lawsuit filed against the state of Colorado by a mother whose son was killed by his prison cellmate, a known violent offender.
