Welcome to the Department of Engineering and Engineering Technology (EAET) at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) in the College of Professional Studies.

At MSU Denver, we take the growing demand for new, creative and effective technological solutions to the problems facing contemporary society seriously. Our responsibility and commitment is to prepare students to succeed in reaching their academic goals as well as in various professional engineering fields.

We currently offer three programs:

Civil Engineering Technology (CET);

Electrical Engineering Technology (EET);

Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET);

NEW Sustainable Systems Engineering Degree STARTS Fall 2015


In addition to these academic programs, ETS offers a few special programs including:

An Architecture Minor (housed under CET);

Colorado Helps Advanced Manufacturing Program Grant (CHAMP);

and Colorado Space Grant Consortium Grant (COSGC).


ETS also offers certificates including:

Electrical Engineering Technology (CEE)

Engineering Graphics & Additive Manufacturing

Advanced Composite Materials & Manufacturing
