Learn how to improve your work with first-generation students

By Colleen Toomey

September 13, 2017

Roadrunners First was created out of a desire to bring visibility to the first-generation college-student identity that over one-third of our MSU Denver students hold.

The two-hour training for faculty and staff is designed to raise awareness, challenge assumptions of who first-generation students are and create an action plan to use in your role on campus.

Trainings will be offered four times throughout the fall semester at various locations:

  • Thursday, Sept. 14, 1-3 p.m. in Admin 325A
  • Monday, Sept. 25, 1-3 p.m. in CN 214
  • Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1-3 p.m. in Plaza 125
  • Tuesday, Dec. 19, 10 a.m.-noon in SSB 213

You can register or email Colleen Toomey with any questions.

We look forward to sharing this new professional development opportunity with you!
