To make ordering the new MSU Denver logos easy and to assure that the parameters for logo use are followed, Marketing and Communications has set up an online logo request form on Brand Central.
“This way, we can help clients get the quality they need in their printed pieces and on other products such as clothing and pens,” says Ruth M’Gonigle, brand manager.
After a logo request is submitted, you will be contacted by M’Gonigle if there are any questions about usage, size limitations or issues about clarity or visibility.
Then, for quality assurance, faculty and staff are asked to send their printer and vendor proofs to M’Gonigle for approval before going forward.
“Clients have had a little bit of trouble with the Roadrunner symbol,” she says, “because it’s tricky to reproduce correctly on dark backgrounds and when it’s engraved. By having us review your proofs, we can make certain that you’re getting a quality product that meets our brand standards.”
All print and digital materials with the old college wordmark or M-Bird logos need to be updated with new logos by June 30, 2013. M’Gonigle says it’s important that departments begin that work now so there is ample time for completion before the deadline.
