Got U update: website documents and stationery

Much remains to be done before June 30, 2013, to align MSU Denver with its new name.

Documents on the web
PDFs and word documents posted on departmental home pages that are in current use need to be updated to reflect the University’s new name.

Web authors—staff members who have been trained on Site Manager—will need to review their sites for documents and make the following changes to the name before the deadline:

  • changing the full name to Metropolitan State University of Denver
  • changing the shortened name to MSU Denver
  • changing College to University when it stands alone

They are also reminded to complete the updating of the name on their homepages.

Stationery and marketing collateral
Ricoh, the Auraria Campus printing service, reports that very few departments and programs have ordered new stationery and business cards. Faculty and staff are encouraged to place their orders within the next few weeks to avoid the rush, if possible and make the June 30 deadline.

Online ordering of MSU Denver stationery is available at http://www.orderprinting.com/, using a password available from your password administrator. You can also order in person in TIV 211.

An SPO or PO for Ricoh must be in place before ordering, or you can use a ProCard.

Likewise, Marketing and Communications encourages departments to update their marketing collateral now, rather than waiting until just before the end of this fiscal year. To request a project, simply fill out a creative brief on Brand Central.
