New Employee Orientation is moving from the first Thursday of every month to the first Tuesday of every month. The next orientation is Tuesday, April 2.

Self-protection training to be offered at Auraria

The Phoenix Center at Auraria and the Rape Assistance and Awareness Program (RAAP) are partnering to offer Women’s Self-Protection and Empowerment Training, a six-hour class on the Auraria Campus on Saturday, May 11.

In the March 4 article, “Sequester’s impact under scrutiny,” it would have been more accurate to say: an estimated 5 percent reduction in the federal budget went into effect March 1, as the Congressional Budget Office’s report, “The Budget and Economic Outlook Fiscal Years 2013-2023” contains exemptions and varying reduction percentages.
