2. IT seeking ways to save paper and printing costs in student labs

Both the amount of paper being used and the cost of supplying unlimited, free printing to students in the computer labs have jumped dramatically over the last couple of years, according to Interim Assistant Vice President of Information Technology Yvonne Flood.

3. Extended Campus clarifies COF impact on its tuition


Metro State’s Extended Campus Program is on a mission to make sure that students, faculty and staff understand that the College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend has no bearing one way or the other on tuition for courses at Metro South and Metro North.

4. Grand Prix to dominate Auraria parking August 12-14

If you’re planning to come to campus Friday, Saturday or Sunday, Aug. 12-14, you might want to walk or take Light Rail. The Denver Grand Prix is scheduled for that weekend, and race coordinators anticipate that Auraria will provide 90 percent of the parking for the large-crowd events.
