4. Dunlap selected to coach national team trials

Men's basketball Head Coach Mike Dunlap has added another feather to the multitude already in his cap: He is one of three collegiate coaches to be chosen to serve as court coaches at the 2005 USA Basketball Men's U21 National Team Trials.

5. Center for Visual Art's XYZ program wins award

The Experiencing Your Zenith (XYZ) program, a collaborative project of Metro's Center for Visual Art, Denver's Youth Opportunity Program and the Denver Housing Authority (DHA), has received a national Award of Merit in Housing and Community Development from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment.

6. Student sculpture exhibit on display at the Auraria Library

Upon entering the Auraria Library these days, you will find yourself surrounded by a series of mechanisms. "Mechanisms to enter a new space," fittingly enough, is the theme of the sculpture exhibit currently on display near the library entryway.
