The Center for Faculty Development's Teacher/Scholar Forum was held on Friday, March 14, 2014.

The 2014 forum was a great success and received record registration numbers and attendance. Thank you to everyone who participated and we hope to see you again next year!

Forum Program and Information

U. S. Professor of the Year Award

Each year, MSU Denver nominates three faculty members for the U.S. Professor of the Year competition. This national competition is co-sponsored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. The internal deadline to be considered for selection as one of the three MSU Denver nominees is March 28, 2014. The application and information can be found here.

Peer Observation/ Portfolio Preparation

Portfolio Preparation Short Courses for Spring 2014

These workshops are meant for faculty as they prepare their portfolio for submission.  Dr. Luis Torres (Student and Academic Affairs) will run the workshops with assistance from Dr. Jane Chapman Vigil (Interim Director, Center for Faculty Development) and Diane Watkins (Educational Technology Center).  Please bring a copy of your department guidelines to the workshop.
