Overview of Services

 Description of Services:

  • Individual Appointments - Our counselors are available to help you review your resume, explore your major and it's career opportunities, help you prepare for interviews, and more. Schedule an appointment in advance by calling 303-556-3664 or by stopping by our office in Tivoli 215.
  • Videotaped Mock Interview - This is your chance to practice interviewing before you are faced with the real thing! Schedule your mock interview in advance by calling 303-556-3664 or by stopping by our office in Tivoli 215.
  • Walk In Appointments* - Stop by our office during walk in hours for quick advice or answers to career related questions. 

Walk-in Appointment Hours:

Monday:  4pm - 5pm
Tuesday:  3pm - 4pm
Wednesday:  2pm - 3pm
Thursday:  11am - 12pm
Friday:  9am - 10am


*Walk-in appointments may be cancelled at times due to staff unavailability.

Career Development Tools

Career Library - Our Career Services Library contains a variety of print and electronic resources to assist with career exploration and job search.

Career Assessments - We have two career assessments available to help you explore your personality and interests: the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII). There is a nominal fee to take the assessments. Contact the Office of Career Services to learn more about assessment fees. You will need to attend an Interpretation Workshop or meet individually with a counselor to review your results.

Employment Workshops - We offer several employment workshops to assist with your job search. Workshop topics include: Job Search/Image Management, Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills and Graduate School. Stop by our office or visit our website to sign up for a workshop.

On-Campus Recruiting - Get connected to employers by participating in On-Campus Recruiting! Find out about on-campus interviews, career fairs, employer information sessions, job postings and more! To participate in On-Campus Recruiting, you'll need to register on JobLink

MSU Denver JobLink - FREE Database where you can post your resume, set up a job agent, find contact information for employers you are interested in, look for jobs by category, apply online for posted jobs, research registered employers, sign up for workshops & events, sign up for on-campus recruiting events, etc!
