Description: Auraria Library will host the Environmental Protection Agency's Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) for a database demonstration for the semester's second Faculty Connections seminar/ The Toxics Release Invetory (TRI) is an EPA database covering disposal and releases of over 650 toxic chemicals from 20,000 U.S. industrial facilities.

TRI data can be used to identify sources of toxic chemical releases, to begin analyzing potential toxic chemical hazards to human health and the environment and to encourage pollution prevention at facilities. The database demonstration is facilitated by Barbara Conklin, an environmental scientist who has worked with the U.S. EPA for more than 25 years.
